Apparently 2.8 is now quite a lot faster than previous versions but the new feature that appeals most to me is the addition of syntax highlighting in the dashboard theme and plugin editor. Syntax highlighting to me makes coding a lot easier.

Whats more wordpress now has seamless upgrades. Gone are the days of manual upgrades. One click now seems to suffice to do everything it needs to do.

Looks like wordpress is certainly making gains still. Let’s hope they keep it up!

I have some plans for more posts in the not too distant future for some projects I hope to develop. Hopefully they’ll work out well enough to gather some interest, I guess only time will tell.
